Club Mission

The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth.

About Our Club (2)

Communication Training

In a Toastmasters Club, members learn public speaking by studying the manuals, practicing, and helping one another. Club meetings are workshops where you study and practice communication and leadership skills with others who are there for the same reason as you. You learn by doing and by watching fellow Club members.
Leadership Training

Toastmasters learn more than public speaking skills. You will build leadership skills when you organize and conduct Club meetings and motivate others to help you. You can develop additional skills by serving as a Club officer, formulating and implementing plans to help the Club meet members's needs. Structured leadership training programs are open to all Club members, and opportunities are available for those who wish to pursue leadership roles at the District level.

Recognition & Rewards

Once a member completes the required projects at each level, he will receive the respective recognition by the Toastmasters International. For example, when you complete 10 projects from the Competent Communicator Program manual, you will receive the Competent Communicator (CC) title, a certificate you can display at home or in the office. If you wish, Toastmasters International will also send a copy of the certificate to your employer about your accomplishment. Additional certificates are issued as you achieve your AC, CL, AL, and DTM goals.
